LifeScience India magazine, an unbiased voice of Indian life science and healthcare sector in association with the Confederation of Indian Industry.

It’s a media platform for advocacy of unbiased content and associated services for the Life sciences sector. The objective is to share experiences, success stories, rewarding partnerships and also the grievances and bottlenecks in growth of the Life Science industry in India and globally. It focused on the entire landscape of Biotech, Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare, Devices, Diagnostics, BIO-IT and Bio-Energy sector. It was basically devised to act as a catalyst in voicing out concerns of industry, ministries and government departments, regulators & policy makers, fund managers, influencers, research heads and trade promotion organizations of various countries.

LifeScience India October-November 2012 issue focused on Agri-biotechnology. Since the government of India has decided to formulate a policy on Agri-biotechnology and has asked for feedback. This edition focused on the views of all important stakeholders, namely: the scientists doing research in government and private scientific organisations, industry- involved in bringing in GM seeds and BT-enhanced plants and seeds, farmers who are recipients of BT products, NGO’s- who work with the farming community and has strong views (for or against), policy makers – both Central and State governments, Economists/ thinkers and ministers/ parliamentarians who are going to approve the policy.
